RECIPE of a JOKE - How To Write a Joke that gets Laughs

WELCOME! Greetings and Salutations, so let's get right to it.
Whether you're an aspiring Comedian/Public Speaker/or CEO of a Fortune 500 Company
For whatever reason , you want to know how to write/constrtuct a funny joke. I applaud you.
Not many in the Profession of Joke telling/writing make such a Noble endeavor.
They wait until another has Created; then they duplicate/imitate/and steal. These are the jackals/ravens/ and hyenas of the Comedy Professions.



A joke is very similar to a cake. Everybody knows it when they see or hear it.
But NOT EVERYBODY KNOWS how to make one. Which if you asked ME how to bake a cake from scratch,
you'd see me SCRATCH my head. And pull out a box of Betty Crocker, Sara Lee, or some shit...lol.
But a JOKE on the otherhand, I can show ANYONE how to make from scratch all day long.

Which at this point I MUST WARN YOU that "baking" jokes from scratch is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE. And could DESTROY YOUR LIFE, because the LAUGHTER ....OoOo THE LAUGHTER that you HEAR from a SYMPHONY of WORDS that YOU CREATED.MmmMm. Is better than sex ! Whew!

And if you're tempted into becoming a STAND-UP COMEDIAN, GOD HELP YOU if you do. Because something that you only planned on doing every so often. You know "casually" has now BECOME a habit, and a NEED.

WHAT'S A PREMISE?
The Idea. What is funny to you.
What you want to talk about.

WHAT'S A SET-UP?
How you present that idea of what's funny to you.
The words you use to translate your language of funny
to the room full of strangers who you don't know.
Whom you have never met.

WHAT'S A PUNCHLINE?
The whole point of a joke. The Pay off. The funny part.
The part when your audience is SUPPOSED TO LAUGH.

WHAT'S A PERFORMANCE?
Get your ass onstage....IN FRONT OF PEOPLE.

WHY IS LOVE 1 OF THE INGREDIENTS?
Because WITHOUT LOVE, and not "passion" for what you're doing.
I mean genuine LOVE in your heart that fills your words. YOU WILL NEVER GET A LAUGH.


COMEDY CONFUSCIOUS SAY:
Any good joke is full of truth, and truth SAID is a hard pill to swallow. Especially from a mean spirited speaker.That One is met with "offense"/ "anger/ and sometimes a physical fight.

While, the harshest of things can be said by one who is OF LOVE.
That One is met with Laughs/Smiles/and Hugs .
